The CampaignGrid Direct Site allows our Registered Users to buy ad space on websites for online advertising. We help our Registered Users focus their advertising upon online users for whom we believe that the advertising is especially useful or relevant. To do so, we rely upon Non-Personally Identifiable Information (“Non-PII”) we have collected from public sources and/or information we have licensed or purchased from third parties. However, while our advertising services are targeted, our system is set up to create anonymous user profiles and we do not track individuals using PII.

Non-Personally Identifiable Information

We collect Non-PII via our Technology, including but not limited to your IP host address, the date and time of browsing, pages viewed, browser type, the referring URL, Internet Service Provider, and/or your computer’s operating system.

Personally Identifiable Information

We do not collect PII via our Technology, but we do collect PII as part of our registration process as described above.

Cookies and Web Beacons

Our Technology uses cookies in conjunction with web beacons in order to help make the online advertisements you see more relevant to you. We also use cookies and web beacons to understand your browsing and buying activities so that we can measure the success of our online advertising campaigns and the campaigns of our Clients.

What are cookies and web beacons?

Cookies are small text files that web servers typically send to a user’s computer when the user visits a website. Cookies are stored as text files on the user’s hard drive, and can be accessed by web servers when the user returns to a website or goes to another website.

Web beacons are tags or signs embedded in a website that provide information to cookies. These technologies are used by organizations to collect and send information about a user’s website visit – for example, number of visits, average time spent, pages viewed, navigation history through the website, and other statistics.

This information helps organizations improve a user’s online experience in many ways: for example, by allowing organizations to monitor website performance, make the website easier to use, measure the effectiveness of promotional placements, and tailor the website to better match a user’s interests and preferences. Cookies cannot be used to access any other data on a user’s hard drive, or to personally identify any individual user. A user who prefers not to accept cookies can set his or her Internet browser to provide notice upon receipt of a cookie or to prevent cookies from being placed on his or her hard drive.

Cross-device Mapping

We may also use these technologies, along with Non-PII data we collect about users’ online use, to recognize users across devices, such as a mobile phone and a laptop, and to make decisions about the advertisements they see.  This is done using anonymous identifiers (such as cookie or mobile ID numbers) and not using PII.  If you would like more information about this practice, and to learn how to opt out of behavioral advertising delivered by Network Advertising Initiative and Digital Advertising Alliance member companies in desktop and mobile browsers on the particular device on which you are accessing this Privacy Policy, please visit the Network Advertising Initiative and Digital Advertising Alliance.

The security of your information is important to us. We have implemented reasonable security measures to protect the information in our care, both during transmission and once we receive it. This includes, but is not limited to, the use of firewalls and encryption.

All of the data collected via cookies and web beacons by our Technology is stored only in aggregate form, meaning that information about a specific, individual user cannot be retrieved.

We maintain physical, technical, and administrative safeguards to protect all data we collect from accidental, unauthorized or unlawful access, use, modification, disclosure, loss or destruction. The data is kept on a secure server, and we restrict access to the data solely to authorized personnel.

No security measures, however thorough, are perfect, and no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100 percent secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security or warrant the security of the information we possess. If you have any questions about our security practices, please send an email to us at

We may share information we collect on the Site to provide Services to you and as otherwise stated in this Policy.  We may share Non-PII with publishers and ad networks in connection with operational purposes (such as reporting and accounting needs), as well as with other unaffiliated third parties for various purposes such as statistical or educational analysis.

We may also disclose your information to third parties when we reasonably believe we are obligated to do so by law, and in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding suspected or actual prohibited activities, including but not limited to fraud and situations involving potential threats to the safety of any person.

Also, in the event Audience Partners is merged into another company, or another company acquires CampaignGrid Direct or otherwise acquires all or substantially all of Audience Partners’ assets, including, without limitation, in the event of bankruptcy, all data compiled or used by CampaignGrid Direct may be among the items transferred in that transaction. In such event, all the data will continue to be governed by this Policy.

Third Party Advertising Cookie Opt Out

In addition to our internal cookie use described above, we also allow third party vendors to place cookies on your computer for purposes of targeted digital advertising. This Privacy Policy does not cover the collection methods or use of the information collected by these vendors. These vendors have their own privacy policies and may be members of the Network Advertising Initiative (“NAI”) or the Digital Advertising Alliance (“DAA”). To remove yourself from some or all NAI or DAA member advertising programs, please visit the NAI Opt-Out Page or the DAA Opt-Out Page and follow the relevant instructions. Please note that when you opt-out, an opt-out cookie will be placed on your computer. The opt-out cookie informs ad networks to stop collecting data regarding your online behavior. This means, though, that if you delete, block, or otherwise restrict cookies, or if you use a different computer or Internet browser, you may need to renew your opt-out choice.  You may also download the AppChoices app to opt out in mobile apps.  We may choose to work with Google AdWords, Doubleclick, AdRoll or other advertising networks. Each of these companies has its own privacy policy, which we encourage You to review. At present, there is no industry standard for recognizing Do Not Track browser signals, so we do not respond to them.
